Bouncer

Pit Bull

Rescued March 2006

Adopted May 2006

While PAWS, Inc does not usually work with domestic animals, we are also not able to turn away an animal in need.  As you can see, Bouncer came to us in an emaciated condition.  He weighed 25 pounds.  After just three weeks of intense feedings with supplements and medications, he weighed 45 pounds.  Bouncer has been given all of his shots, was heartworm tested, and neutered.  He is now in his forever home with a loving family that includes three little girls who think he is their best friend in the world.  He went from near death due to starvation to a spoiled puppy who sleeps at the end of his little girl's bed.

PAWS, Inc. cared for Bouncer because all of the local domestic animal facilities were full and unable to help him.  Bouncer asks that you PLEASE be a responsible pet owner and spay and neuter your pets so that no more puppies will have to experience what Bouncer went through.  It is MUCH more humane to have unwanted pets euthanized than to dump them 'out in the country and hope that someone will help them before they die of starvation. It was almost too late for Bouncer.
