We are having a Wildlife Booth Fundraiser in order to raise funds
(of course!) as well as to raise awareness of our feathered and
furry friends in the wild. We have a fledgling organization
that is reliant upon donations in order to fund our work.
The majority of our work involves raising and rehabilitating
orphaned or injured wildlife and returning them to the wild.
In 2007, we took in over 200 animals. We have taken in
approximately 150 animals so far this year including a number of
'special needs' deer that require quite a bit of time and money to
rehabilitate.
While there will be no fee for people to attend our wildlife booth,
we are hoping to generate donations in exchange for allowing people
to see our animals and to learn more about the various species
represented there.
